This vehicle is actually the Old Bile Pole Car from Fury Road with swing arm removed and other modifications
The original vehicle was a 4 door 88 Super Wagon, for Furiosa a second vehicle was needed to be used in the rollover stunt scene and a 2 door coupe was sourced locally in Australia
One can imagine the horror on the old owners face when they saw what happened to their beautiful old classic, but we need to face some facts.
These cars are not just lying around in junk yards in Australia, the cost of importing another along with and associated bio security clean ups would have not made it viable so the 2 door version was used in the stunt.
